This week we're discussing Tanzanians abroad finally being allowed to have dual citizenship, secession of southern Sudan from the rest of the country come the 2011 referendum and much more as well as plenty of lively music from the region.

On Tuesday's show we're looking at the upcoming Ethiopian elections and what the Ethiopian people's and politicians' expectations are.
We're also discussing a recently released list of the hottest heads of states, guess which African head of state has been named cream of the crop...
Another attempt is being made to form an East African unity which if successful will open up trade and economical opportunities as well as borders but what are the benefits for the average layman? Alongside these topics we'll be playing tunes from the region so tune in on Tuesday Jan 5th at 4pm EST.

Here we come...
The East Africa show that is, on Fairfax public access's WEBR each and every Tuesday at 4pm EST.
The East Africa show gives you and us a platform to look at social and political topics of East Africa that genuinely create debates and have a lighthearted discussion about it. We also give the listeners the opportunity to chip in their two cents and let us know their views on the topics we covered and their take on it.
Furthermore we play entertaining music from the region and listeners can express topics and issues of interest and what they would like us to cover.
